Contributing to the knowledge of infections and diseases caused by the human papillomavirus

The HPV Institute belongs to a governmental program of incentive and fomentation envisaging benchmark institutions and intending to research relevant questions of national interest.

The program is conducted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) through the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), in partnership with the state foundations for research support -FAPESP in the case of São Paulo-  (www.fapesp.br)

The mission of the National Institute of Science and Technology of the Diseases Associated to the Papillomavirus, or simply HPV Institute, is to contribute to the knowledge of infections and diseases caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), at different levels.
